My hedgehog just died, as of the 16th of May, 2007

Since he cannot make a last wish by himself, I will make it for him. All you have to do is know that Hayway was a good friend of me, and will never be forgotten.

My memory is failing for a reason I do not know, so I will undoubtedly forget many things about him, so I want others to remember for me.

Late Summer, 2003: Hayway is born, probably through breeding. June 24, 2004: I buy Hayway from a pet store, having to choose him out of three hedgehogs. He is almost 1 year old at the time, and has spent most of his time in a cage about a square foot in diameter, with no way to exercise and hardly any human contact. June 25, 2004: I take Hayway home to a 40-gallon terrarium, good food, an exercise wheel, and a new life.

From there, he lives a long life, living to see almost three full Summers, with frequent adventures outside. However, he lives to experience two incidents with his feet due to an active life. Both times, he got a hair trapped around a foot, cutting off circulation.

He lived through both of those, however, and soon becomes a very close friend of me. But what probably caused his death was what made him have such a good life.

May 16, 2007: Hayway dies outside his exercise wheel, probably due to overdoing his exercise, probably causing a heart attack.
