Running with the ball is something you can do if you are on fire, as seen in the demo below.
As long as you keep moving horizontally, the ball will not roll off your slime.

Running can also be done backwards as shown in the following example:

And then you can run laps (this is just getting ridiculous now :P). This can be done indefinitely, but the replayer can only capture 3 laps.polone
