Low Behind Pickup

What it is: This is the way to pick up a ball that is behind you and almost on the ground.

Instructions: Go backwards. Jump (while still going backwards) and the ball should pop up as if out of nowhere (this actually defies the current theory on how the slime works as it is running in the wrong direction (but not in the below replay)*). If it were a low front pickup, then it would now go over the net. But it bounces off the wall and comes back to you, not giving you much time to put it over the net. If you can jump here, great. If you can't, here's a good way to get it over quickly:

*although it could be that the ball wants to stay in the same place (or go slower than the slime is) because of its inertia and is pulled over (or very slightly over) the slime. This force would counter the pull of the wheels if the slime was actually slightly slimy!
