Hutu Serve

The Hutu Serve is an on-fire serve that holds the ball next to the net and then pushes it under. It is so named because the Chinese characters 糊涂 have the pinyin pronunciation "hutu" (the word means confused).

The Hutu Serve is performed by hitting the ball backwards without jumping, and then catching the ball against the net. The slime should jump and move forward when the ball has just about settled.

The serve is about R:[5] in terms of repeatability (at least for me) but is very practical because there are many variations available if you mess up. It's probably possible in normal play, since all you need to do is get the ball to stall against the net, but it's easier as a serve.

If anybody can get this to be unstoppable I would greatly appreciate it; I am researching it on my own, but I can't do it as of yet. I'm not really sure how you would go about doing it, or if it's possible, but I'd like people to try.

This is just a blank replay post to get rid of the problem of the first replay not being displayed.

Here is the serve from the left side. Notice that the ball does not, for some reason, actually land on the other side of the net. Here is the serve from the right side, showing a similar result. The serve also works if the opponent is at the net. The serve can also be done without fire, where it might be slightly more effective (slime can't get back as quickly). Here is what happens when the opponent is not quite at the net. An example of a converted failed attempt. Defenderofint 17:34, 31 July 2008 (PDT)
