Contributing
From SlimeWiki
A wiki is designed to be edited by anyone. That means that you can edit pages that you see here, including this one! You will need to register an account to edit pages, but that's to stop random spammers from vandalising this site.
A general guide to editing a wiki is provided on Wikipedia - please have a look before you start editing pages. If you've contributed to Wikipedia before then that's great, the same style applies on this site.
To create a new page, just change Contributing in this web page's URL to whatever you want your new page to be titled (e.g., http://oneslime.net/wiki/My New Page). If you want to put up a better version of a serve / skill / etc that already exists, just edit the existing page, there is no need to make a new page with a similar name. Please use internal links to other wiki pages. This makes the pages tidier, and also helps the Googlebot find your contributions. This is because internal links will be crawled by the googlebot, whereas the googlebot will not follow external links. To make an internal link to the Main Page, type [[Main Page]] instead of [http://oneslime.net/w/index.php?title=Main_Page Main Page]
There are a number of categories in this wiki. A category is a collection of related pages, such as a list of games, or listings of serves and skills. If you add a new serve or skill to the Wiki (using the Replayer), please be good enough to include the category tag at the bottom of your new article. For serves, add the following line at the end of your article:
[[Category:Serves]]
Similarly, use [[Category:Skills]] and [[Category:List of games]] where appropriate. This makes it much easier for people like you who want to add new skills, but want to check if that particular skill has already been documented. For a full list of categories in this wiki, see Special:Categories.
