Block

A block is when one player blocks the other's jump-shot by jumping at about the same time. Most blocks end up in a point for the blocker. Usually the ball ends up at the edge of the court like this:

...but sometimes it can end up between the two players, like this:


Sometimes, as you see here on this old replay, you can Throw on a block. And (of course) don't throw onto the opponent's front.


Beware the opponent can block back. On the other hand, you can block back back.


And, you know, they aren't always a neat little "Gotcha back!" Sometimes, they're kinda weird.
